Trafic tire pressure sensor fault
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Renault Trafic is experiencing a tire pressure sensor fault, with low pressure indicated and an error stored. The issue is isolated to one tire, and the pressure was confirmed to be low manually. The likely cause is identified as a depleted sensor battery, which was confirmed and resolved by replacing the battery.

It's showing for one tire only. Yes, I checked the pressure manually and it is indeed low. Could the empty sensor battery really be the only reason?

Okay, if it's just one tire and the pressure is actually low, then yeah, the sensor battery is the most likely culprit. I'd still recommend getting it checked at a workshop, to be 100% sure.

Thanks for the input. It was indeed the sensor battery. Had it replaced. Cost me 280€.

I had something similar on my Trafic. Is it showing for all tires or just one? Have you checked the pressure manually with a gauge to confirm it's actually low? Could also be a TPMS issue.
