Trafic Windshield Wipers Not Working

I own a 2012 Renault Trafic with a gasoline engine. The windshield wipers are not working, and the error memory shows a fault. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. What could be the cause?

I had a similar issue with my Trafic. Check the wiring harness around the steering column. A faulty rain sensor or cruise control module could also be the culprit. Have you checked those?

Can you specify which wiring harness sections are most prone to failure? Also, is there a common point of failure related to the rain sensor or cruise control?

On my Trafic, the issue was with the connector block near the steering column. I'm not an expert to give you exact details. If you are not familiar with this stuff, you should visit a workshop.

Thank you for the information. I had the vehicle inspected; the problem was indeed a defective connector. Repair cost was 95€.
