Trajet Fog Sensor Problems

I've got a 2002 Hyundai Trajet, diesel engine, with 118092 km on the clock. I'm experiencing a fog sensor problem. The error memory has a stored error, the air conditioning won't switch on, the spray nozzles freeze in cold weather, and the mirror heating isn't working. Suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Anyone else had this?

Summary of the thread

A 2002 Hyundai Trajet is experiencing issues with the fog sensor, leading to problems with the air conditioning, spray nozzles freezing, and mirror heating not working. The suspected cause is a defective cable or plug connection. It is suggested to have the vehicle checked at a workshop, as similar symptoms were resolved by fixing a faulty connection.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Hey, I have a Trajet too. Sounds familiar. Did the windshield fogging get worse before all this started? Could be a faulty sensor messing with everything, especially the air con and heating.

Windshield fogging wasn't really noticeable, no. Did you experience the exact same issues with the nozzles and mirror heating?

Yep, same symptoms. The frozen nozzles were a nightmare last winter. Turned out to be a dodgy connection. Honestly, I'd get it checked at a workshop. Could be a simple fix, but chasing electrical gremlins is never fun.

Thanks, I appreciate the confirmation. I'll book it in. I got a quote for 95€, so hopefully, it's just a cable like you said.
