Trajet NOx Sensor Defective Connection
Summary of the thread
A 2004 Hyundai Trajet owner experienced a check engine light issue, with the error memory indicating a problem related to the NOx sensor. The owner suspected a defective cable or plug connection might be the cause. After consulting with others who had similar issues, it was suggested to focus on the sensor. A workshop visit confirmed a defective connection to the NOx sensor, which was then repaired.

Thanks! How did you figure out it was the sensor? Was it obvious, or did you have to do some digging? Also, what did you do about the exhaust?

For me, it was the NOx sensor. I didn't deal with exhaust leaking, so I don't know, sorry. I'd take it to a workshop, they'll pinpoint it quick.

Thanks! You were spot on. The workshop found a defective connection to the NOx sensor, exactly as I thought. 95€ later and it's fixed!

I had a similar issue with my Trajet. Check engine light and everything. Is it affecting your air-fuel ratio or emissions? Could just be a sensor failure, I'd start there.
