Trajet Oil Level Sensor Error
Summary of the thread
A 2006 Hyundai Trajet is experiencing an oil level sensor error, with a dashboard message, stored code, and flickering oil pressure light. The issue may be due to a faulty sensor or a simple loose or corroded wire connection. Checking the sensor's plug near the oil pan for any damage or loose connections is suggested as a first step. If unresolved, professional inspection may be necessary, as a similar issue was quickly fixed by a mechanic, indicating a likely simple connection problem.

Good shout! You mean the plug right at the sensor down near the oil pan? Was it a pain to get to? I'm wondering if maybe some road debris kicked up and damaged something. What did you end up finding when you had the issue?

Yep, that's the one. I didn't manage to solve it myself. Ended up taking it to the shop because I didn't want to mess with the oil system. They sorted it pretty quick, so it must have been something simple. Maybe just a bad connection like we thought.

Thanks! I'll poke around the connection, but sounds like a trip to the mechanic might be in order. I appreciate the input! Just got it back from the shop, cable or plug connection of the component defective and they fixed it for 95€.

Hey! I have a Trajet too. Sounds familiar! Had something similar happen a while back. Did you check the connections to the sensor itself? Could be a corroded plug or a frayed wire. Worth a quick look before diving deeper.
