Trajet radio reception issue
Summary of the thread
A 2003 Hyundai Trajet owner is experiencing issues with radio reception, receiving an error message related to the antenna, and occasional audio system failures. A similar problem was resolved by checking the antenna connection, which was found to be loose and corroded. The suggested solution is to inspect and possibly replace the antenna, as confirmed by a workshop diagnosis.

Where exactly is the antenna connection? Is it easy to get to? And was that the only thing that was wrong?

On mine, it was behind the head unit. You have to pull that out to get to it. Honestly, after fiddling with it and still having issues, I just took it to a shop. They said the antenna itself was shot. I just didn't want to mess with it anymore.

Thanks for the insight! I guess I'll bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. They've confirmed the antenna is defective and quoted me 255€ for the repair. It's a bit annoying, but at least I know what's causing it now.

Dude, I had something similar with my Trajet, although I can't remember the exact error message. The radio would just cut out randomly. I was convinced it was some kind of electrical gremlin. Did you check the antenna connection? Mine was loose and corroded as heck.
