Trajet Solar Sensor Fault

I'm experiencing an issue with my 2005 Hyundai Trajet (gasoline engine). The error memory indicates a solar sensor fault, which seems to correlate with the heating output being noticeably low. Could a defective cable or plug connection be the cause?

Interesting. I had a similar HVAC sensor issue with my old BMW. Different brand, I know, but could the problem be the sensor itself? How old is it?

I don't know how old the sensor is. I'm wondering if trying to diagnose the low heating output is worth it. Is it feasible to troubleshoot the sensor in the Trajet myself?

I wouldn't bother trying to fix it myself. I ended up taking my BMW to a workshop. Saved me a lot of time and probably money in the long run. A diagnostic check is certainly recommended.

Thanks for the advice. I had a workshop diagnose the issue. It was indeed a defective cable, as suspected. The repair cost me 95€.
