Transit Anti-Theft Alarm Issue

My 2022 Ford Transit electric is having anti-theft system issues. I'm at 222460 km, and the error memory shows an issue. The alarm is unresponsive. I suspect it's related to the alarm being coded to activate optical locking. Has anyone else experienced this?

Whoa, sounds familiar! I've got a Transit too and had a similar headache a while back. Did it happen after any electrical weirdness, like a power failure or a dead battery?

Interesting... I haven't noticed any power failures or battery issues. Everything else seems to be running fine. What fixed it for you? Was it a dealer fix?

Yeah, it was driving me crazy. I kept thinking it was a false alarm. Truthfully, after a bit of fiddling, I just took mine to the workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly.

Okay, sounds like a trip to the workshop is in order. Thanks for confirming it wasn't just me! Took it to the shop, and you were spot on! The alarm system was indeed coded to activate optical locking. It cost me 45€ to get it sorted. Appreciate the help!
