Transit fuel pump issue

To clarify, when you experienced these symptoms with your Transit, did the diagnostic interrogation also point towards the fuel pump or related components? And if so, were there any other indications, besides the symptoms already mentioned, that further implicated the fuel pump itself?

Indeed, the error codes were hinting at fuel delivery issues, like a detective dropping clues. However, let me be frank, diagnosing these things remotely is like trying to diagnose a leaky faucet over the telephone – you need to get your hands dirty to truly know! Given the symptoms and error codes, and the fact that you've already considered the fuel pump's connections, it's probably time to take it to a professional for a proper evaluation. It could be the pump itself, or something related, but chasing it yourself without the right tools and knowledge can be a costly endeavor.

Based on your experience and insights, I'll have the vehicle assessed by a qualified technician. The eventual repair involved replacing a defective fuel pump cable for 95€. Your analogy regarding remote diagnostics proved particularly astute. Thank you again for your time and expertise.

Sounds eerily familiar! I had a similar rodeo with my Transit – felt like it was choking on its own fumes! Check Engine light was on more than it was off. Rough idling, stalling… the whole shebang! Have you poked around the fuel system at all? Fuel pump issues can be real gremlins. Before you tear everything apart, though, have you considered that it might be something simple, like a clogged fuel filter? It's like trying to drink a milkshake through a coffee stirrer!
