Thanks! Yes, it came back with a control unit communication error, but I don't know where to start. What was your experience? Any tips on how to resolve it? Could it be a software glitch?

Yes, the scan result confirms it. Mine was a defective cable or plug connection. I would recommend checking all of the connections. It is also possible that the unit is just faulty and needs replacement. I would advise you to go to a workshop.

Thank you! I took it to a mechanic, and it was a faulty connection, as you suggested. They fixed the connection and cleared the error codes. Total repair cost was 95€. The van runs like new again. I'm very grateful!

Sounds like a control unit communication fault. My Transit had similar symptoms. It's like the brain of the van is having trouble talking to the body. Have you had the van scanned for diagnostic trouble codes? That's the first step.
