Transit Rear Window Heating Issue
Summary of the thread
The rear window heating on a 2015 Ford Transit diesel is not functioning, and there is a heating system error in the error memory. A weak battery is suggested as a possible cause, potentially leading to complete failure of the rear window heating and partial impact on the windshield heating. Checking the fuses and considering a battery replacement are recommended steps to address the issue.

Thanks! Where can I find the fuses for the rear window heating? I'm not sure how old the battery is, but it was changed a few years ago.

Check your owner's manual for the fuse diagram. You can probably find a PDF online if you don't have it. I'd take it to a local workshop and ask them to look at it based on my experience.

Okay, I'll check the fuse and then book an appointment at the workshop to change the battery. The repair cost was about 290€. I think that might solve it.

I had a similar heating issue with my old Opel Astra, but it was slightly different. The rear window heating would only work sometimes. Have you checked the fuses? It might be an easy fix. How old is your battery? A weak battery can cause weird electrical problems.
