Traveller AC Failure

Hi, my 2016 Peugeot Traveller diesel's AC has stopped working. It doesn't cool, and the system doesn't seem to switch on at all. It has 240161 km on the clock. I've checked the AC fuses, and they're fine. Any ideas on what could be wrong or how to troubleshoot?

Hey, I had a similar issue with my Traveller. The AC just quit suddenly. Have you checked for refrigerant leaks? Might be worth a look before you get into more complex stuff. I'm guessing it could be a valve. I'd check that first.

Thanks. Could you be more specific about which valves might be the problem? And did yours have the exact same symptoms – a complete AC failure?

Yep, complete shutdown. The compressor wouldn't kick in. As for the valves, mine were individual valves within the cooling system itself that failed, causing the AC to stop completely. You'll probably need a workshop visit; the repair will likely be around 1000€. They'll use dye to find any leaks.

Thanks for confirming and for the extra info. Sounds like a workshop visit is the way to go. I'll book an appointment to get the cooling system checked, especially for valve problems. I appreciate the help.
