Traveller Active Hood Fault

Hi, I'm experiencing an "Active hood fault" with my 2017 Peugeot Traveller diesel. The on-board computer displays the message, and the airbag warning lamp is constantly lit. I've scanned for error codes, and it confirms the active hood system. I even heard the spring actuators trigger once. Has anyone else run into this?

Yeah, had something similar with my Traveller. Airbag light was on and kept getting the hood fault. Was driving me nuts.

Really? Do you remember what ended up being the problem? Any idea what I should check first?

Honestly, I just took it straight to a workshop. They said it was the acceleration sensor. Something to do with the crash detection system. If you're getting airbag warnings, I wouldn't mess with it too much yourself.

Thanks for the tip! I took it to a shop, and you were spot on – it was the acceleration sensor. Replaced it, and the fault is gone. Cost me 315€, but at least it's fixed!
