Thanks for the tip! I hadn't thought of the relay or fuse, I was so focused on the pump itself. Where exactly is the compressor relay usually located on these Peugeots? And regarding the wiring harness, is there a particular spot that's prone to corrosion or loosening, or is it just a case of checking everything?

On my Audi, the relay was in the engine compartment fuse box, but I couldn't say for sure on the Peugeot. Consult your owner's manual. As for the wiring, pay close attention to any connectors near the compressor itself, as they're exposed to the elements. Honestly, though, given all the symptoms you're experiencing, and without proper diagnostic tools, you might be better off biting the bullet and taking it to a workshop. They can pinpoint the issue much faster and more accurately. It’ll save you time and stress in the long run.

You were spot on! I took it to my local garage. Turns out it was a faulty connector at the compressor, just as you suspected. They charged me 95€ to replace the connector, and the suspension is working perfectly again. Thanks for the advice; you saved me a lot of unnecessary stress and possibly an expensive compressor replacement!

Sounds like a real headache! I had a similar issue with my old Audi A6 a few years back. The air suspension went kaput, and I had all the same symptoms you're describing: the leaning, the error messages, the wonky headlights. Did you check the basics, like the compressor relay and fuse? It could be something simple. Also, have you tried checking the wiring harness and connectors to the compressor? I remember reading somewhere that corroded or loose connections can cause all sorts of mayhem with these systems.
