Traveller engine stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Peugeot Traveller diesel with over 214,000 km is experiencing engine stalling and a check engine light when idling. The initial suspicion was a faulty tank ventilation valve. Another owner with similar issues suggested checking the ventilation hoses for clogs, which turned out to be the problem. After addressing the clogged hoses at a workshop, the issue was resolved.

Interesting! Where exactly are those ventilation hoses located? And were they visibly clogged, or did you have to remove them to inspect them properly?

They're usually tucked away near the fuel tank, running up towards the engine bay. Honestly, I didn't mess with it too much myself. After poking around a bit, I took it to a workshop. They found the hoses were indeed clogged. Save yourself some potential headache and maybe do the same.

Thanks a lot for the advice! It does sound like the hoses are the most likely culprit. I'll take it to the shop tomorrow. They confirmed, ventilation valve clogged due to gunk in the hoses. 175€ later and all is well!

Hey! I've got a Traveller too, and your symptoms sound eerily familiar. I had the engine light and stalling issue a while back, and it also felt like it was struggling for air sometimes. Did you happen to check the ventilation hoses for any clogs or kinks? That was the culprit in my case.
