Traveller Low Heat Defrost Flap Error

I'm having a problem with the heating in my 2016 Peugeot Traveller diesel. It's done about 99749 km. The heating output is lower than expected, and I'm getting an error message about the defrost air distribution flap. Could a defective cable or plug connection be the reason? Has anyone else seen this?

Hey, low heat and a flap error, huh? Sounds like it could be the air distribution indeed. Have you checked the blower motor? Is it running at all speeds?

I haven't specifically checked the blower motor, but I can hear it operating at various speeds. Could a partially functioning blower motor still be the cause, even if it appears to be working?

Yeah, a partially functioning blower motor could be the issue, but with the flap error, it's more likely that cable or plug connection you mentioned. I'd suggest getting it checked out at a workshop. They can diagnose it properly. Probably a quick fix.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and it was indeed a faulty connection as suspected. The repair cost me 95€. Your input was very helpful in guiding me toward the likely cause.
