Traveller Overvoltage Error

I'm seeing an 'Overvoltage' error in my 2016 Peugeot Traveller diesel, with fault memory entries. Systems are failing, the battery is weak on start, and there are general electrical malfunctions. Diagnostics point to a discharged or defective battery. Any diagnostic tips or similar experiences?

I also have a Traveller, and I experienced something comparable not too long ago. Did you check the alternator? A faulty voltage regulator can cause overcharging. I'd start there.

Thanks. Did your symptoms include a weak battery and starting difficulties, or were the issues primarily system failures during operation?

Yes, the weak battery was definitely part of it. It would struggle to start, especially in colder weather. I eventually took it to a workshop because I couldn't pinpoint the issue myself. They sorted it out in a day.

Understood. I appreciate the confirmation regarding the battery symptoms. It appears a workshop visit is warranted. I have scheduled an appointment; the anticipated repair cost is 290€ Thank you.
