Trax Poor Start Terminal 30 Issue

My 2020 Chevrolet Trax with a gasoline engine and 196517 km is having issues. I'm encountering an interrupted continuous plus on Terminal 30, which causes a poor start. I suspect a discharged or defective battery. Has anyone encountered a similar electrical fault? Maybe it's the wiring harness or a short circuit in the fuse box affecting the power supply?

Summary of the thread

A 2020 Chevrolet Trax is experiencing poor starting issues due to an interrupted continuous plus on Terminal 30. The problem may be caused by a discharged or defective battery, issues with the wiring harness, or a short circuit in the fuse box affecting the power supply. A clicking sound during startup suggests a potential deeper electrical issue. It is recommended to have the vehicle diagnosed by a trusted workshop to identify and resolve the problem.

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I've got a Trax too, and I had a similar issue with intermittent power a while back. The start was a real struggle, almost like the battery was completely drained some days. Check if the engine is cranking properly. Did you notice any unusual clicking sounds when attempting to start?

Yes, I have noticed a clicking sound, especially during the mornings when attempting to start the vehicle. Could you provide a bit more detail regarding the problems you experienced and any specific components that were affected?

Alright, the clicking sound is basically the same headache I had. I didn't tinker too much, diagnosing electrical gremlins isn't really my thing. I'd advise getting a trustworthy workshop to take a look. It could be a deeper problem with your electrical system. It eventually cost me around 290€, if that gives you an idea.

I appreciate your insights and your shared experience! Considering the clicking sound and the potential for a deeper electrical issue, I will bring the vehicle to a trusted workshop for diagnostics. Thanks again for your guidance!
