Trax sound system failure
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Chevrolet Trax diesel has a sound system issue where the audio is completely non-functional, despite the display working and fuses being intact. Good questions. The display works perfectly, so the unit is getting power. I've tried the radio and connecting my phone via Bluetooth, but still, zero sound. No distortion or anything like that beforehand – it just suddenly stopped working.

Sounds exactly like what happened to mine. Seriously, the same symptoms. I spent ages fiddling with it. In the end, it turned out to be something with the speaker wiring harness. Honestly, just take it to a workshop.

Appreciate the advice! I was hoping it wouldn't come to that, but it sounds like I'm out of my depth. I took it to the workshop, and you were right; it was a defective speaker wiring harness. Cost me 280€ to get it sorted. Thanks again!

Hey! I had something similar happen in my Trax. First, does the display work, but just no sound comes out? Have you tried different sources, like the radio, auxiliary input, or Bluetooth? Any sound distortion before it died completely?
