Headlight cleaning system without function

Hey, thanks for the quick response! I've been digging around and it seems like your experience aligns with what I suspected. My Creta's pumped around 22966 km so far, and I've never really had any highly technical issues until now. Usually, I get her serviced at the Hyundai service center, following their suggested intervals and the last service was just last month. I'll check out the pump assembly following your insight and I'll get it sorted. Can't have O' Reliable giving me troubles at night, eh? I'll update here once I figure it out. Your help is much appreciated!
Hey again, Glad that some of my ramblings might be of help! It's odd to start getting funny business from the ol' girl at 22K km, but then cars do like to keep us on our toes, don't they? Since your last service was just a month ago, pop down to that Hyundai service center if you can. Ideally, they should be able to diagnose the problem, considering your vehicle is relatively new. Not all things can be caught at the service intervals, but with any luck, they'll get to the bottom of this pretty quick! One more thing, check the squirter nozzles and hoses too; we tend to overlook them. In case there's any gunk or blockage, it'd affect the headlight cleaning system too. Keep us posted. Fingers crossed for O' Reliable!
Hey there, You're so right, our beloved whips can be a bit mischievous at times! Good point about the squirter nozzles and hoses, I hadn't considered them being affected by any blockage. I'll pop down to Hyundai service center first thing tomorrow and bring your suggestions up with them. Really thankful for your help. I'll loop back once I've got this mystery sorted, hopefully soon! Fingers crossed indeed, can't let O' Reliable down. Cheers!
Hey! Faced a somewhat similar problem with my own whip, a 2015 Hyundai Tucson. Just to give you an idea, I peep under the hood every now and again, but I am definitely not a mechanic. With this issue, I took it down to my local workshop. After a bit of a look-see, they told me it was down to a dodgy pump cable connection or faulty relay, causing a breakdown in communication between the system and the pump itself. Cost me a cool €165 to get it all straightened out, but it's been smooth sailing since. Sounds like you might be facing something similar. Can you share more details about your vehicle? Might be able to help you out a tad more. In the meantime, consider checking out the pump assembly and its connections. Hope that helps!
