Troubleshooting 2019 Lexus LC Drop in Power, Traction, and ABS/DSC System Issues: Possible Speed Sensor Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Lexus LC is experiencing a drop in power and traction, with the ABS warning light flashing and the ABS/DSC system appearing non-functional. The suspected cause is a fault in the supply voltage for the speed sensor (ABS). A similar issue in a 2017 Lexus RC was resolved by replacing a defective ABS component, suggesting that parts replacement might be necessary. It is recommended to consult a skilled mechanic for diagnosis and repair.

Thanks for the advice! Just for a bit more context, my LC's odometer reads 118162 km, last service was done just a few months back. I usually drive in city conditions, occasional long trips. Given your experience, looks like I need to brace for some parts replacement. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Cheers!

You're welcome! Ah, city driving might explain that. Stop-and-go traffic can be tough on systems like ABS/DSC. With your mileage, it certainly isn't out of the question that some parts might need replacing. Don't worry though, this isn't very uncommon and a good mechanic should be able to quickly identify what's causing the issue. If it's anything like my 2017 Lexus RC, the parts and labor costs should be manageable. Best of luck, and let us know how it turns out. Cheers!

Thanks for the reassurance! I'll make sure to take it to a skilled mechanic and hopefully, it won't be too much of a dent in my wallet. I'll definitely update this thread once the issue is resolved. Your help's been invaluable, cheers!

Hey there! I think I had a very similar problem with my 2017 Lexus RC a while ago. Now, I don't know much about cars, just have some basic experience, but I can share what happened. My workshop guys told me the issue was due to a defective ABS component. As it turns out, the sensor was integrated into it. To fix the issue, some parts had to be changed and I ended up paying around 170 Euro. I'd definitely recommend getting your LC checked by a competent technician. However, if you could share more information about your vehicle (mileage, driving conditions, etc.), it would be easier to give a more accurate suggestion. Hope this helps a bit! Cheers!
