Hey, thanks for your insights! My Lafesta didn't show any obvious signs before the power windows stopped functioning. It was all good, and then bam, nothing works. No weird noises or anything suggesting a problem either. It happened after the 40K service, and my odometer is currently reading 39118 KM. So, I guess similar to your episode, the switch could be the actual issue in my case as well. I'll get it checked then and keep you updated. Appreciate your support!

Hey, no worries! That's why we're all here, right? To share and help out. Based on what you're telling me, I'd say it does sound like the window switch might be the problem, especially if it just suddenly stopped out of the blue. But keep in mind, it's just a guess until you get itto a pro. Although, speaking from my own experience with my Serena, at about the same mileage range, mind you, sometimes it's the simplest things that cause the biggest headaches. Make sure you tell them to check all the wiring connections and fuses. That might save you some bucks if we're lucky! Looking forward to hearing what ends up being the culpert. Fingers crossed it's no biggie!

Totally agree. It's a lively bunch here always ready to lend a hand. Yeah, I'm definitely leaning towards the switch fault now or perhaps a wiring issue or a blown fuse, like you said. Such an unexpected headache. But what can you do? It's just a part of the whole car owning saga, I suppose. Anyway, I'll give you a ping once my workshop folks have had a closer look. Fingers crossed it'll turn out to be a quick, easy, and not too pocket-denting fix. Thanks for the chat, really helped to ease my worries. Catch you later!

Hey there, I had something similar happen with my 2017 Nissan Serena, same brand but different model. I've got some experience with cars, especially on the electronic side. Turned out it wasn't the window regulator at all; in my case, it was a defective window switch. Spent a solid 130 Euro at my local workshop. They had it sorted pretty quickly once they diagnosed the problem right. It might be worth checking on your Lafesta too. By the way, could you share more about how the problem started on your end? Any odd noises, particular situations when it won't work etc.? That could help me to suggest more specific stuff for you.
