Troubleshooting Connectivity Issues with 2023 Seat Tarraco Diesel: Smartphone and GPS Connection Problems

Hey folks, I'm having a weird issue with my 2023 Seat Tarraco Diesel. My smartphone refuses to connect and the GPS isn't picking up a signal. I reckon it could be a connectivity issue, but I'd love to hear your thoughts or similarly experienced woes. How did you troubleshoot such kind of things? I'm particularly interested to know if someone solved the issue through their workshop and how they got on. Any ideas or advice would be super appreciated.

Hey there, I had a similar issue with my 2021 Seat Ateca Diesel. I'd rank my car expertise as having some experience, so I wasn't completely lost. After some trial and error, I ended up at a local workshop where they pinpointed the problem to "Incorrect pairing with the end device." It cost me about 45.00 Euro to get it sorted - fairly reasonable if you ask me. Do you know if your vehicle has been paired properly before? Also, has your unit had any recent updates or went through a reset? The more details you can provide the better, it might help you in fixing the issue. Cheers!

Hey! I really do appreciate the suggestion. I've definitely paired my phone before, and it used to work just fine. However, I haven't checked for any updates or done a reset lately. I guess it's high time I give it a shot. The machine had its last pit stop at 105704 km, I don't recall them mentioning any tech-related service though. Guess it might have been overlooked or maybe didn't seem necessary back then. That price point sounds reasonable, I think I'll stop by my local workshop with your experience in mind. Many thanks for your help!

No worries! Glad I could help. I'd definitely recommend checking for updates and considering a reset if necessary. With these tech issues, often a simple update can do the trick. And if there's an underly issue, your local workshop should be able to identify it. Just remember to give them as much detail as you possibly can, especially about what it was or wasn't doing just before you started having the problem. It will help them diagnose the matter quicker! Best of luck, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions. Cheers!

That's pretty reassuring! I'm definitely gonna check for updates and maybe do a reset if required. I'm now hopeful that this local workshop will be able to sort it out, considering the ample amount of troubleshooting feedback you've provided, which is a great help. Cheers to you for your supportive advice, it's gone a long way in alleviating my initial frustration. Surely, I'll ping you if any more issues pop up. Thank you and take care!
