The issue was around the Hall sensor signal and a warning light was popping up on the dash too. Took my ride to the local workshop and turns out, it was a faulty cable connection causing a mess. The at the workshop fixed it up for a cool €95.00. Our symptoms aren't exactly the same, but the problem could be similar. Hey! Thanks for your input. Before this whole fuss, the Mistra was running smooth as silk. No major issues up until the beginning of last month when I started noticing the warning light. I've tried to keep up with regular maintenance and my last service was at 67856 KM. Based on what you're saying, it could be a similar issue with the cable connection. Also, the €95.00 sounds reasonable if it gets my convertible top functioning again. I reckon I'll take your advice and have a mechanic take a look at the Hall sensor signal and cable connection.
