Hey there, thank you so much for the advice! My S90 uses default wipers and really, everything was working just fine until last week. Oh, and about additional info, my car has clocked about 152,289 KM and its last service was in January this year. I'll definitely look in to your suggestion. I can give the steering column switch cable a thorough look or maybe I'll also just trot down to my local garage tomorrow. I'll keep this thread updated! Thanks again, really appreciate it!

Hey, no problem at all, glad to offer some advice! So, as per your additional info, I strongly believe taking it to the garage would be the best course of action. Don't want to risk anything since your car has quite a bit of mileage. The mechanic will be able to check not only the steering column switch cable, but also the wiper motor and relay, even the electrical system overall. They'd have a better grasp and could potentially save you from future headaches. On the headlight cleaning system malfunctioning, it could be either the pump or the nozzles. Again, a professional is your best bet. Hope this all gets swiftly sorted, nothing worse than dealing with these mundane car issues, right? But hey, that’s the ride we signed up for. Keep us posted!

Hey, thanks again. Yeah, you're spot on! I'd rather not mess around with it too much myself and potentially make it worse. I'll be getting it into the garage ASAP and I'll make sure to tell them about the steering column switch cable and ask them to give the entire electrical system a good check, including the wiper motor and relay. And yup, those headlight cleaners need professional care too. Yeah, it isn't the most exciting aspect of owning a car, I agree. But hey, that's life, isn't it? Anyway, thanks for your help. I'll keep you posted on how it goes! Cheers!

Hey there! I've got a 2020 Volvo S60, pretty similar to your S90. I'm no mechanic but I've dealt with my fair share of car issues. Had a similar problem once, turned out to be a dodgy steering column switch cable connection. Walked into my local garage and they had it sorted for me. Cost me around 155 Euro. It's worth checking out. If you can provide some additional info - type of wipers, when did this issue start, etc., I might be able to offer more specific advice. Don't fret, you'll get this sorted out. Take care!
