No problem, that's what we're here for! Maybe you're lucky and it's just a small electronic problem that's easier and cheaper to fix. But it could also be the alternator. On my Ibiza it broke recently and the lights flickered and the engine started poorly. Sometimes it's the little things that lead us astray. Good luck with that!

Hey, thanks again for your advice! I will definitely check that and also consider the alternator. I've noticed that these problems mainly occur in the cold season, so maybe that has something to do with it. I will definitely keep you posted on what happens. Thanks for your input and good wishes!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2014 Seat Ibiza. I'm not an automotive expert, but I do have some experience with cars. In my case, it was the engine control unit that was faulty and not the temperature sensor. I had to have the control unit replaced in the workshop, which cost me a whopping 1400 euros. The symptoms were similar to yours, so perhaps the engine control unit is also to blame. Have you ever had it checked?
