Tundra Audio System Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Toyota Tundra hybrid is experiencing a complete audio system failure, with no sound output and an unresponsive Bluetooth connection. The issue persists despite checking fuses and dashboard controls, and an error is stored in the system memory. A similar problem in another vehicle was traced to a defective display unit, suggesting that the Tundra's display might also be the cause. Repairing the display unit is recommended as a potential solution.

Was it a total silence, like nothing at all? And did you also have an error code stored? I'm trying to narrow down if it's a software glitch or a hardware failure.

Yep, complete silence. No radio, no Bluetooth, nothing. I don't remember the exact error code, but the shop told me it was the display unit itself causing the issue. Might be worth getting yours checked out.

Appreciate the insight. Looks like the display is indeed defective. Quoted 725€ for the repair. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Dude, that sucks! I had something similar happen with my old Audi A4. The whole sound system just went silent. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure it out.
