Tundra fault code issue
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Toyota Tundra is experiencing recurring fault codes, with error messages appearing on both the infotainment system and speedometer. The issue seems related to incorrect vehicle coding, as indicated by OBD-II scans. Despite attempts to clear the codes, they persist, suggesting a deeper coding problem. A similar issue was resolved by taking the vehicle to a workshop for professional diagnosis and resetting, which may be the recommended solution.

Yeah, the engine light is on. Did you ever figure out what was causing it on your Tundra?

OK, so yeah, sounds pretty familiar. I chased it for a while, but honestly, I ended up just taking it to a workshop. They sorted the coding issue and reset everything. Cost me around 360€ if I remember correctly.

Thanks, that's really helpful. I was hoping it wasn't something serious. Sounds like a trip to the shop is in order. Will get it sorted for 360€. Cheers!

Hmm, that's a weird one. I had something similar happen with my Tundra, though it wasn't exactly the same. Did the engine light come on with it?
