Tundra hybrid engine mount issue

I've got a 2021 Toyota Tundra hybrid with about 124k kilometers on it. Recently, I've been experiencing some uneven idling, and the error memory has a stored error related to what I suspect is the engine mount. I've checked the cable and plug connection of the component as a possible source. Has anyone else run into similar engine mount issues, maybe excessive mount wear?

I have a Tundra too (older model though), and I remember experiencing something similar a while back. I had some weird vibrations, especially when idling. Did you also check the transmission mount? Sometimes those rubber mounts can cause similar symptoms if they're worn.

Interesting, I haven't specifically looked at the transmission mount. Where exactly is it located, and what should I be looking for when inspecting it? Could a defective motor mount also cause this?

Well, accessing the transmission mount can be a bit tricky. I’d have to look it up again myself to give you a solid answer. Honestly, considering you already have an error code pointing towards the engine mount and uneven idling, maybe it's best to take it to a workshop for a quick check. It shouldn't cost too much to diagnose.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the local mechanic and you were right, after all it was the engine mount. Defective cable / plug connection of the component. Repair cost me 95€. Appreciate the help!
