Tundra Rear Ventilation Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Toyota Tundra hybrid with 28,000 km is experiencing issues with the automatic climate control, specifically the rear ventilation, and the AC is not cooling. The problem might be due to a faulty cable or plug connection. A similar issue in a different vehicle was resolved by checking connections in the rear climate control circuit, suggesting a professional diagnostic might be necessary. The issue was ultimately identified as a defective plug to the rear ventilation flap and was fixed at a workshop.

Thanks for the quick reply! Which connection was it on your Volvo? And when you mention voltage drop, do you mean from the battery or specifically at the rear ventilation flap?

I don’t know the precise location of the bad connection in my Volvo, but it was in the rear climate control circuit. Regarding the voltage drop, I mean specifically at the connection or wiring to the rear ventilation flap. Based on the symptoms, it sounds like something's definitely amiss, and a professional diagnostic might be in order.

Roger that. Appreciate the insight. I'll get it checked out at a workshop. It was a defective plug to the rear ventilation flap. They fixed it for 95€. Thanks again!

Interesting. I had a similar air conditioning malfunction in my 2018 Volvo XC60. A defective connection was causing climate control problems. Have you checked the relevant fuses and relays? Sometimes a simple voltage drop can trigger such errors without signaling a blown fuse.
