Tundra seat heater failure
Summary of the thread
A 2008 Toyota Tundra is experiencing a seat heater failure, with the heater not warming up and an error code related to the issue. The suspected cause is the seat heating mat, which can burn out over time. Checking the fuses showed no issues, suggesting the heating mat is likely the problem. The recommended solution is to have the heating mat replaced by a professional, as confirmed by another owner who faced a similar issue.

Thanks for the quick reply! I did check the fuses, and they all seem to be fine. Was it definitely the heating mat in your case? Did you end up replacing it yourself, or did you take it to a shop?

Yeah, for me it was the heating mat. I'm no electrician, so I took it to a shop. They confirmed the mat was dead. They replaced it, and now it's toasty again. Saved me the headache of ripping apart the seat myself.

Appreciate the insight. Sounds like a trip to the shop is in order. They quoted me around 390€, so I'll get it sorted. Thanks again!

I had a similar problem with my Tundra. Sounds like the heating mat is the culprit. It's like a lightbulb filament, it can burn out over time. Have you checked the fuse box?
