Twingo audio system failure

Hi, I'm having a weird problem with my 2010 Renault Twingo diesel. The audio system has completely stopped working. There's nothing, no sound at all. I scanned it and there's an error stored, but I haven't been able to figure out what it means. I suspect the display is defective, has anyone else experienced this?

Hey, I've got a Twingo too, and I had a similar issue a while back. Does the display light up at all? Or is it completely dead? I was getting some static noise before mine died completely.

Thanks for the quick reply! No, the display is completely dead, no light or anything. Before it died, the audio quality was poor, and the volume control was not working properly. Is that similar to what you experienced?

Yep, sounds exactly the same. It's likely the head unit itself, but there could also be faulty wiring. Honestly, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop; diagnosing those audio systems can be a pain. In the end, it cost me 725€ to repair, but the system works like a charm now.
