Twingo Brake Booster Pressure Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Renault Twingo owner reported a speedometer error and weak brakes, with a diagnostic tool indicating a brake booster pressure sensor error. The issue was likely caused by improper brake bleeding, which introduced air into the system, affecting the sensor. After re-bleeding the brakes and replacing the faulty sensor, the problem was resolved.

Thanks! Now that you mention it, I had the brakes bled a few weeks ago, not by me though. Could that be it? If the bleeding was bad, could that kill the pressure sensor and cause all this? How does that even work?

Yeah, bad brake bleeding is a likely cause. Air in the lines can mess with the brake booster and maybe damage the pressure sensor over time. Get a pro to check the brake system and sensor. They can see if there's air and diagnose the sensor.

Thanks for the advice! You were right about the brake bleeding. The workshop found air in the system and re-bled the brakes properly, but the pressure sensor was already gone. They replaced it (cost me 90€), and now it's all good!

Sounds like you've checked the basics with the error codes. The brake booster pressure sensor could be the problem, especially with those symptoms. Have you had any brake work done recently, like bleeding? Bad bleeding can get air in the system, messing with the sensor readings.
