The exhaust leak seems to be near the catalytic converter. Fuel consumption has increased noticeably. Could this be connected to the oxygen sensor, or maybe the EGR valve? Is that what you experienced?

Yep, sounds exactly like what happened to me. My mechanic said it was the lambda sensor causing the whole chain reaction. Honestly, I'd get it checked out at a workshop. Could save you a lot of headache.

Your advice was spot on! I consulted a mechanic, who confirmed a defective lambda sensor was the issue, resulting in an exhaust treatment malfunction. The repair cost 375€, but now my Twingo runs great. Thanks!

Hey, I had something similar with my Twingo. Check engine light, rough running... Sound familiar. Was the exhaust leak near the exhaust pipe or further down? Did you notice any difference in fuel consumption?
