No obvious leaks that I can see. Engine check lamp comes on occasionally. Any specific sensors I should be looking at?

Could be a faulty injector or a problem with the wiring to the injectors. If the check lamp comes on, get the error code read. I think it is best if a pro looks at it.

Thanks, I will. Turns out it was just a dodgy plug connection. Garage charged me 95€ to fix it.

Sounds like a fuel/air issue. Have you checked for any obvious leaks in the fuel lines? Maybe a dodgy sensor affecting the fuel mixture? Is the Engine Check lamp on?
