Twingo diesel issues

Hi, my 2012 Renault Twingo diesel is giving me grief. Fuel consumption is up, feels like I've lost power, and it sometimes cuts out at idle. Plus, it smokes when I accelerate. Any ideas?

Sounds like a fuel/air issue. Have you checked for any obvious leaks in the fuel lines? Maybe a dodgy sensor affecting the fuel mixture? Is the Engine Check lamp on?

No obvious leaks that I can see. Engine check lamp comes on occasionally. Any specific sensors I should be looking at?

Could be a faulty injector or a problem with the wiring to the injectors. If the check lamp comes on, get the error code read. I think it is best if a pro looks at it.

Thanks, I will. Turns out it was just a dodgy plug connection. Garage charged me 95€ to fix it.
