Twingo diesel power loss
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Renault Twingo diesel experienced power loss, poor engine response, increased fuel consumption, and an illuminated check engine light. The suspected causes were a faulty manifold pressure sensor and a potential vacuum leak. After checking the PCV valve and hoses, which were fine, the issue was confirmed to be a faulty manifold pressure sensor. Replacing the sensor resolved the problem, restoring the car's performance.

Thanks! I checked the PCV valve and hoses, but they seem fine. Can you tell me exactly where the vacuum leak was in your case?

Okay. If the PCV and hoses are good, get the manifold pressure sensor checked professionally to be sure. A bad sensor messes with the ECU readings. A garage should be able to diagnose it properly.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a mechanic, and it was a faulty manifold pressure sensor, just like I thought. The sensor replacement, including labor, was 235€. It's running great now. Your help sped things up.

I have a Twingo too, and that sounds really familiar. Vacuum leak - did you check the PCV valve and the hoses around the manifold? That's where my issue was.
