Twingo Electric Power Loss

I'm having trouble with my 2021 Renault Twingo Electric. It's got about 236759 km on the clock. Recently, I've noticed a significant drop in power, and the check engine light is constantly on. Any ideas what this could be? I've checked the air intake, but everything seems fine.

Sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my old BMW 3 Series a while back. Reduced power and the check engine light... Could be related to the throttle sensor. Does the car feel like it's in limp mode? Have you noticed any changes in fuel efficiency or response delay?

Thanks for the quick reply! Limp mode sounds about right, and yes, the fuel efficiency seems worse than usual, plus there's definitely a delay when I press the accelerator. Where exactly is the throttle sensor located, and is it something I could potentially check myself?

Okay, given those symptoms, it does point towards the throttle valve being defective. On my BMW, it turned out to be the accelerator pedal module, or the electronics inside it. Honestly, for something like that on an electric car, I'd suggest getting it checked by a workshop. They'll be able to diagnose it properly. It cost me about 265€ to get it sorted.

Thanks so much for the advice. I'll take it to a workshop to get it checked. Good to have an idea of what it might be and what to expect cost-wise. Appreciate your help!
