Twingo electric seat failure

I've got a 2021 Renault Twingo electric with 157668 km on the clock. The passenger electric seat has stopped working. There's an error stored in the memory, and it's impossible to adjust the seat. I suspect a heavily discharged or defective battery. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Twingo. The electric seat on the passenger side just quit. It's like when your phone suddenly refuses to charge – frustrating! Did you check the seat wiring harness underneath the seat? Sometimes those connectors can come loose or get damaged.

Thanks, that’s helpful. I did a quick visual inspection of the wiring harness under the seat, but nothing obvious jumped out. When you say 'similar issue', was it a wiring problem for you, or something else entirely?

Well, the visual inspection is like looking for a needle in a haystack, isn't it? In my case, it turned out to be the battery not providing enough juice to the motor. If you are unsure I suggest taking it to a workshop. I think you'll find a faulty battery to be around 290€

Thanks for the advice! Took it to a shop as you suggested. Turns out the battery was indeed the culprit. New battery and the seat is working as it should.
