Thanks, that’s helpful. I did a quick visual inspection of the wiring harness under the seat, but nothing obvious jumped out. When you say 'similar issue', was it a wiring problem for you, or something else entirely?

Well, the visual inspection is like looking for a needle in a haystack, isn't it? In my case, it turned out to be the battery not providing enough juice to the motor. If you are unsure I suggest taking it to a workshop. I think you'll find a faulty battery to be around 290€

Thanks for the advice! Took it to a shop as you suggested. Turns out the battery was indeed the culprit. New battery and the seat is working as it should.

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Twingo. The electric seat on the passenger side just quit. It's like when your phone suddenly refuses to charge – frustrating! Did you check the seat wiring harness underneath the seat? Sometimes those connectors can come loose or get damaged.
