Twingo Electric windshield wipers not working

Alright, I'm officially stumped. My 2022 Renault Twingo Electric is throwing me for a loop. The windshield wipers have completely stopped working. I've checked the fuses, and they're fine. Plugged in my OBD scanner and it's showing an error related to the wiper switch. My suspicion is a faulty cable or plug connection. Has anyone else had this happen? Car has 124091 km on it.

That's a pain. I had a similar issue with my 2017 Opel Corsa a few years back. Wipers just died. Also an error in the memory. In my case, it was a corroded connector on the steering column stalk. Have you checked the connections around the wiper switch and steering column?

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely check the steering column connections more closely. Was your rain sensor also affected, or was it purely the wipers themselves? I'm trying to rule out if it's a broader issue with the steering column module.

I don't think my Corsa had a rain sensor, so I can't say for sure. But, honestly, after poking around for a bit, I ended up just taking it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly. Probably best to get it checked out before you chase too many rabbit holes. Good luck!

Appreciate the advice! I poked around a bit more, but you're right, I think it's time to throw in the towel and take it to the shop. Final damage was 95€. At least it's fixed now!
