Twingo emergency call malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Renault Twingo is experiencing a malfunction in its emergency call system, indicated by an error message and warning light on the speedometer. The issue may be due to a defective cable or plug connection within the system. A similar case was resolved by confirming a connection issue through a diagnostic at a workshop, suggesting that professional inspection and repair might be necessary.

Thanks for the quick reply! Nothing specific that I can recall. It just sort of appeared one day. How did you resolve it? Was it actually a dodgy connection?

Well, in my case, I suspected a loose connection, but honestly, I didn't want to mess with the airbags and telematics. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They ran a diagnostic, confirmed it was a connection issue, and sorted it out. Cost me about 95€.

Thanks, that's really helpful. I appreciate you sharing your experience. I will take it to the workshop and have it checked. The 95€ sounds reasonable. Hopefully, that fixes it.

That sounds familiar. I have a Twingo as well. I had a similar issue crop up not too long ago with my emergency call system. Was there anything specific that triggered the warning lights, like a hard bump or some recent work on the car?
