Twingo Fuel Flap Release Failure
Summary of the thread
The 2015 Renault Twingo's fuel flap release stopped working, accompanied by an error message and temporary unavailability of some functions. The issue was initially suspected to be an electrical fault or a problem with the release mechanism itself. After checking the fuse and considering other possibilities, it was determined that the problem was due to a defective linkage, which required professional repair.

Thanks! I haven't been able to get the error code with my equipment. Where's the fuse for the fuel filler door release? And if the fuse is intact, what's next?

Fuse location should be in your owner's manual, check under 'fuel filler' or 'central locking'. If the fuse is fine, and given the other issues, it could be a deeper electrical problem. Could also be a defective linkage, but that's rare. I'd suggest a workshop visit; specialized tools are probably necessary to diagnose it properly.

Appreciate the input! Seems like I was out of my depth. The linkage was indeed defective and causing other issues. The repair, including parts and labor, was around 210€.

Electrical gremlins are never fun. Does the error code give you any clues? Have you checked the fuse for the fuel filler door release? Might be a long shot, but always good to rule out the simple stuff first.
