Twingo Multifunction Steering Wheel Error

My 2019 Renault Twingo with a gasoline engine is acting up. The multifunction steering wheel is completely dead and says there's an error. I suspect a cable connection issue in the steering wheel. Has anyone else dealt with this?

Summary of the thread

A 2019 Renault Twingo is experiencing a malfunction with the multifunction steering wheel, displaying an error and rendering all steering wheel controls non-functional. The suspected cause is a cable connection issue within the steering wheel. A similar issue was resolved by checking and repairing the cable connection, and a workshop visit is planned to address the problem.

I had a similar problem with my Twingo. Were there any other warning lights or system malfunctions along with the electrical fault?

Thanks! No other lights or malfunctions, thankfully. Just the steering wheel buttons are dead. Radio, cruise control... all steering wheel controls are non-functional. Did yours do the same?

Yep, sounds very familiar. If it's just the steering wheel functions, and no other systems are affected, it's likely the same issue I experienced. I'd suggest having a workshop check the cable connection.

Cheers! A workshop visit is scheduled. They estimate around 95€ for the repair. I'll post a resolution once it's fixed. Thanks again for confirming my suspicions!
