Twingo power steering problem

Hi, I've got a 2014 Renault Twingo diesel with 159147 km. The power steering is acting up. The steering wheel vibrates/shakes and the handling feels spongy. There's also an error code. It's harder to steer, like the power steering is failing. I'm thinking it might be a cable or plug issue. Any ideas?

Hey, I had something similar with my Twingo. The steering felt really weird, and the wheel would shake sometimes. Did you check the electric steering?

Yeah, it's the cable connections to the electric motor thingy that drives the steering. If they're loose or corroded, it can mess things up. Honestly, though, I ended up just taking it to a workshop. Much easier.

Thanks for confirming the probable cause. I'll check the cable connections. If that doesn't fix it, I'll go to a workshop. It was the cable connections! Repair cost 95€. Thanks again for the help.
