Thanks for the quick reply! I haven't had a close look myself, to be honest. But if the cable or plug looks okay, is there anything else that could be causing this? Could it really be the whole mounting bracket?

While a visual inspection of the connections is a good first step, the error code strongly suggests an electrical fault within the engine mount itself or its immediate wiring. Given the mileage and symptoms, it's advisable to have a qualified mechanic diagnose the engine mount, potentially transmission mount and associated connections. Continuing to drive with a suspected mount failure may lead to consequential damages.

Alright, I appreciate the advice. I'll book it in with a workshop. They found the engine mount was defective and replaced it including labor for 95€. Runs like a dream now! Thanks again!

The symptoms you describe indeed point towards a potential engine mount issue, particularly with the electrical connection. Has the engine mount been visually inspected for damage or excessive wear? A faulty mounting bracket could certainly cause uneven idling and trigger error codes.
