Twingo won't start

Hi, I have a 2016 Renault Twingo with a gasoline engine. It won't start. The engine turns over, but it just won't fire up. I've checked the fuel injection, and it seems okay. The check engine light is on, but I don't have an OBD reader to see what the error code is. Any ideas?

Hey, that sounds frustrating. When you say you checked the fuel injection, what exactly did you do? Also, have you had any issues with engine surges or anything like that before this happened? It could be a simple issue, like the battery cable connections. Are they clean and tight?

I visually inspected the fuel injection system. I am a novice, so I don't know more. I did not notice engine surges before. How exactly should I check the battery connections?

Alright, got it. Visually inspecting the fuel injection probably isn't enough. As for the battery, just make sure the connections are clean and tight. If they are loose or corroded, clean them up and tighten them. But honestly, with the check engine light on and it not starting, it might be best to take it to a workshop. They can read the error code and diagnose the problem properly.

Thanks for the help. You were right about the battery connections. They were corroded. I cleaned them, but it still wouldn't start. I took it to a workshop, and they confirmed it was a bad connection, costing 155€.
