Yeah, I checked the sensor connections; they seem solid. The speedometer is intermittently going haywire, which further points to the speed signal being the core problem, I reckon. Since you mentioned the speedometer, is there a specific sensor or wiring harness you'd recommend inspecting more closely?

Speedo issues definitely point to a deeper problem then. Given all those symptoms cropping up together, and especially with the speedometer acting up too, it really does sound like that control unit. Honestly, at this point, a workshop might be your best bet; ABS issues can be tricky and risky to DIY.

You called it! Took it to the shop. Turns out the control unit was indeed fried. Cost me 1000€ to replace, but at least it's finally fixed. Thanks for confirming my suspicions and pointing me in the right direction!

ABS light and traction problems? Sounds rough! Did you check the sensor connections themselves? Sometimes it's just a loose wire or corrosion causing the issue. Also, is the speedometer working correctly, or is that acting up too?
