A refrigerant leak? I haven't checked that specifically. Where is this relay switch located? And how would I check for a refrigerant leak myself? I'm no expert, but I can usually figure things out with guidance.

I'm not entirely sure about checking for the leak yourself, as it might require specialized equipment. About the relay switch, I am not sure about it either. Given the complexity and potential risks involved, I would suggest taking it to a qualified workshop for diagnostics and repair. They should be able to pinpoint the exact cause.

Okay, thanks for the advice! I was hoping it would be a simple fix, but it sounds like it needs a professional touch. The diagnostics cost 60€ and the relay switch cost 180€ so the repair cost me 240€. I appreciate your help!

I have a Twizy as well, and I encountered a similar problem with the air conditioning. Did you check the relay switch? I had a faulty relay that was causing intermittent power loss to the A/C compressor. Also, is there any chance you are dealing with a refrigerant leak?
