Twizy Airbag Warning Light

Help! My 2023 Renault Twizy (electric) has a problem. The airbag warning lamp in the speedometer is constantly on. I've checked the fuses, but no luck. Mileage is at 110584 km. Could it be a faulty airbag sensor?

Summary of the thread

A 2023 Renault Twizy has an airbag warning light that remains on, potentially indicating a faulty airbag sensor. The issue might be caused by a loose cable or plug connection, particularly under the seats. It is recommended to have a mechanic inspect the connections and sensors to resolve the problem.

I had a similar issue with my Twizy. Check the cable and plug connections to the airbag components, especially under the seats. A loose connection could trigger the SRS light.

Thanks! Where exactly should I be looking under the seats? Are there any specific airbag components I should focus on? I'm a bit nervous about messing with the airbag system.

Yeah, it's difficult to pinpoint, but a defective cable or plug is likely the cause. I'd recommend getting it checked at a workshop. Cost me around 95€.

Alright, thanks for the advice! I'll take it to a mechanic and have them check the connections and sensors. Hopefully, it's just a loose wire and nothing major.
