Thank you for the quick reply. Could you elaborate on where exactly I should be looking for this sensor and the plug connection? Is it easily accessible, or does it require dismantling the door panel?

Yes, you'll need to remove the door panel to access it properly. The sensor is usually integrated into the door latch mechanism itself. Given it's an electric vehicle, and you suspect the contact signal, it might be best to get it checked by a workshop to avoid damaging any sensitive components. It could be more complex than just a loose wire.

Appreciate the insight! I'll take your advice and schedule an appointment with a qualified technician. It turned out to be a defective cable/plug connection as predicted, and the total repair cost was 95€. Thanks again!

I had a similar issue with my older Opel Astra. The central locking went haywire because of a bad door latch sensor. Check the wiring and the plug connection going to the door latch. Could be a corroded or loose connection causing the signal problem.
