Twizy electrical faults
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Renault Twizy with 60,000 km was experiencing electrical faults, including error messages, radio issues, and occasional shutdowns. The problem was suspected to be related to a dodgy connection, especially noticeable on rough roads. A similar issue was resolved by fixing a faulty cable connection to the control unit connected to the BUS system. After taking the vehicle to a workshop, the loose cable was repaired, resolving the electrical issues.

That's interesting, I hadn't really thought about it. Now that you mention it, I think it might be happening more when I'm on rough roads. What was your issue, and how did you fix it?

Sounds like the same problem I had. It turned out to be a faulty cable connection to one of the control units – the one connected to the BUS system. I tried fiddling with it myself, but honestly, I'd just take it to a workshop. They'll be able to diagnose it properly and fix it right. It's probably a quicker and safer bet.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a shop, and you were spot on – it was a loose cable connection to the control unit. They charged me 155€ to fix it, which isn't too bad. Everything seems to be working perfectly now. Really appreciate your help!

I've got a Twizy too, and that sounds familiar. Did the errors seem to happen more when you went over bumps or anything like that?
